Lifting & Rigging Specialty Sales, Inc., established in January 1998 by Harry Coulter, after a twenty-eight year work history with a domestic chain manufacturer. The greater part of those twenty-eight years, Harry was involved mainly with sales, sales management and engineering of "below the hook" lifting equipment. It was because of this background, and knowledge, Harry decided to build a sales agency designed specifically around the lifting and rigging industry.
Starting with just a single product line of Grade 80 Alloy Chain and components, the agency has grown to 13 active product lines. They are, AMERICAN WEBBING & FITTINGS INC., ESCO CORP, ITNAC CORP., J.C. RENFROE & SONS INC, RENFROETOO, KWS INC., LIFTING GEAR SALES, PROMEC INC, QUALITY CHAIN CORP., TECNOMAGNETE INC, UNIVERSAL SECURELIFT INC., WEAR-FLEX NYLON SLINGS and WEISNER INC. Each of these product lines tends to cater to the chain, webbing and wire rope fabricator. Thus, our focus at Lifting & Rigging Specialty Sales, Inc., is to the fabricator and industrial distributor, oriented towards "below the hook" lifting equipment.
In December of 2000, Tom Bepler joined the agency. Tom handles the daily office activities as well as, web site services and telemarketing for all products. Tom is the primary contact for our tire chains, as well as cargo control hardware, fittings and webbing. Tom is knowledgeable of all product lines represented and can provide the customer with price and availability as needed. Tom joined the agency following 27 years of military service in both the Marine Corp. and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.
In June of 2001, Jim McGill joined Lifting & Rigging Specialty Sales, Inc. Jim has over twenty-five years in selling to the fabricator as well as the industrial distributor. Jim's specialty is in the webbing and tie down industry. Jim is headquartered in New Jersey and services New York, New Jersey, E. Pa., and Delaware. Jim can make a personal visit to any facility to assist with engineering and quoting of any special or standard product.
